The official cast list of the movie includes Chris Pine as Edgin, Michelle Rodriguez as Holga, Regé-Jean Page as Xenk, Justice Smith as Simon, Sophia Lillis as Doric, Hugh Grant as Forge, Chloe Coleman as Kira, Daisy Head as Sofina, Kyle Hixon as Guard, Spencer Wilding as Gorg, and Will Irvine as Tobias

Who are the creatures in the movie?

First up is Owlbear, which is, um, an evil mashup of an owl and a bear. However, the creature, as described by Pine, manages to combine all the horrifying might of a bear with none of the fluffy, feathery charm of an owl. The character of Holga the Barbarian, Michelle Rodriguez, is seen introducing the Mimic, a being that can, well, mimic everything. The famed Gelatinous Cube, which disarms its victims, a Displacer Beast with tentacles and cloaking abilities, and the Intellect Devourer, a walking brain, are some of the other creatures. Themberchaud, a very enormous dragon who, well, may have snacked on some other dragons before the questing group of adventurers came upon him, is also shown in the movie trailer.

According to teh synonsis, the movie follows "a charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers embark on an epic quest to retrieve a lost relic, but things go dangerously awry when they run afoul of the wrong people."
