Dua Lipa sizzles in black cut-out thong leotard as she opens MTV EMAs
All eyes were on the 24-year-old singer as she started off with her newest single 'Don't Start Now.' She matched her racy one-piece with a pair of sheer stockings and satin heeled boots.
Singer Dua Lipa put on a very memorable show while opening the 26th MTV EMAs that took place at the FIBES Conference and Exhibition Centre on October 3.
She opened with her newest single 'Don't Start Now.' The 24-year-old made sure that she had all eyes on her while she took to the stage in a black cut-out leotard that showed off her abs. She looked very much in her element as she sported satin heeled boots. She also matched the racy one-piece with a pair of sheer stockings that had black piping that ran up the central panel.
The 'No Lie' singer chose to have her hair styled in a sleek bun as her dancers sported a neon yellow bodysuit. Dua Lipa had complete control over the stage and performed a high-energy dance routine. The singer recently teased her fans with what they can expect from her new album as revealed that it was a mix of both her old music and new genres too.
While speaking about her new song, she said, "It’s very disco-orientated. I guess I got a lot of inspiration from 'Electricity' and 'One Kiss'; it felt like the natural progression. The album is really nostalgic with new sounds." She has also been working with Nile Rodgers on some new music but confessed that it did not make the new project.
"We did some stuff together but it’s not going to end up on the project, but hopefully we’ll get to work on something else. I'm going to keep everything a secret for now", she shared. The show also had performances by celebrities such as Halsey, Mabel, and Spanish singer Rosalia.
The event returned to Spain for the fourth time post visiting Barcelona in 2002, Madrid in 2010, and Bilbao in 2018. This year's show was hosted by US singer and actress Becky G.
