Dr Dre’s divorce is getting pricey as his estranged wife, Nicole Young, has for asked a whopping $2 million a month in spousal support from the artiste. The former wife of the Grammy-winning producer also gave a breakdown of this sum justifying her request for the divorce proceedings.

As reported by TMZ, Young, who is now 50, mentioned various monthly expenses which include $900,000 per month listed under entertainment, $10,000 per month to keep the house clean and for the laundry. Young also added another $135,000 per month for new clothes. She then listed $60,000 for education costs which will cover tuition and living expenses. Young also added $125,000 per month for her charity donations. She went on to add a $100,000 per month mortgage along with $20,000 to take care of her telephone, cell phone and email bills. Now, if we add up her entire sum of expenses, it comes up to $2,530,000 which is actually more than what she is really asking for.

Dr Dre (whose real name is Andre Young) and Young got separated in June citing “irreconcilable differences”. The 55-year-old billionaire hip-hop mogul always took care of the finances when they were together. The ‘Chronic’ hitmaker’s net worth currently stands at a massive $800 million and therefore, looking at the amount his estranged wife has asked for, only seems to be a drop in the ocean. Dr Dre became the first billionaire in the hip-hop industry in 2014. He owns a couple of businesses apart from his music production work.

The moment the news of Nicole Young asking for her spousal support sum came out, people logged in to the Internet to share their views on the hot topic. One tweeted, “Dr Dre ex wife is the perfect example why every man especially every rich man needs a prenup. If you rich and she don’t wanna sign a prenup she for the money.”

According to the gossip sites, the trouble in paradise started when the former NWA member got intoxicated at their LA pad in April and started shouting, “F*** you. F*** you. Get the f*** out. Get the f*** out. Go to Malibu.” Dr Dre and Nicole Young were married for 24 years. The rapper had filed a response in June where he spilled the beans about them having a prenuptial agreement.
