NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Hollywood actress Sophie Turner went out for a girls' night with Joe Jonas' ex-girlfriend and singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, on Tuesday night, September 19, in New York City. The two were spotted leaving a restaurant and went to Temple Bar on Lafayette Street after that.

Following the announcement of her divorce from her husband, Joe Jonas, Hollywood actress Turner topped the news cycle for weeks. The couple had been married for four years and share two daughters together.

The actress has moved on in her life since, enduring negativity and toxicity from many online users about the surprise breakup.

Turner and Swift began attracting a lot of attention from the media and fans and fans wonder if they have actually become the new BFFs in town.

Turner wore a cropped shirt in gray with matching baggy jeans for their girls' night out. She wore a black sweater knotted around her waist and gripped a black purse.

Swift wore a red minidress with an oversized denim jacket, and she looked chic. She also donned little green purse and brown knee-high boots.

Internet users went into a meltdown and took to X (formerly Twitter) to express their excitement and opinions over the two getting along so well.

One fan, out of pity for Joe Jonas, wrote on X, "Oh don’t end that jonas brother like that taylor"

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas' split wasn't cordial

After four years of marriage, Joe Jonas filed for divorce from Turner earlier this month. As per documents obtained by PEOPLE, "the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken."

Jonas allegedly accused Turner of partying and being out late while he was responsible for his family and children. While many came to defend Turner and criticize Jonas, others sided with the Jonas and attacked the 'Game of Thrones' star.

It appears like the actress has moved on since their split, and seeing her wandering with Swift through the streets of New York City, enjoying the single life, supports this conjecture.

Swift and Jonas, 34, started dating in July 2008. The couple decided to end their relationship in October of the same year.

Swift is said to have written several songs about the 'Jonas Brothers' member since their breakup, including 'Forever & Always' and 'Better Than Revenge'.

The actor, who continued dating following the breakup with Camilla Belle, Gigi Hadid, and eventually Turner, made reference to Swift in 'Much Better'.
