Donatella Versace says Britney Spears in 'amazing state of mind' ahead of Sam Asghari wedding
Donatella Versace, who recently met with Britney Spears, revealed that the singer is feeling better than ever as she gears up to marry the man of her dreams. The legendary designer, who will be creating the 'Oops!...I Did It Again' star's wedding dress, told Variety that she reconnected with Spears during her Los Angeles trip for the 2022 Oscars.
"She’s [Britney Spears] on vacation now", Versace told the outlet, before adding, "She’s doing well." The designer continued, "I find her in an amazing state of mind. I know it’s been such a long time. I’m very happy to see her like that." A week ago, Spears took to Instagram to celebrate Versace's visit. Sharing a photo of her posing with her fiance Sam Asghari and Versace, Spears wrote in caption, "Look who came to visit … these 2 bad b***hes are up to no good." Versace commented under the post writing, "Yessssss!!!! Definitely up to noooooo good! love you both."

Once Spears shared the photos on Instagram, fans were overjoyed to see Versace make a surprise visit to the 'Toxic' singer's Lake Sherwood home, likely for the dream wedding dress fitting. Commenting under the post, one fan wrote, "Yesss get that wedding dress fitted." Another added, "Brit about to be a Versace girl." A third quipped, "The most iconic duo! When 2 iconic blondes join forces, there is going to be magic coming soon!"
Sam Asghari proposed to Spears last September after nearly five years of dating with a 4-carat round brilliant stone in a platinum cathedral setting, enhanced with a floating solitaire design. The ring also has Asghari's nickname for Spears -- "Lioness" -- engraved inside the band. The duo first met each other in October 2016, when the singer starred with the Iran-born actor in her 'Slumber Party' video. They made their relationship official on Instagram in January 2017.
Spears was previously married to Kevin Federline, the father of her sons Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15. She also had a brief union with her childhood pal Jason Alexander in 2004 before marrying Kevin Federline that same year. The 'Criminal' singer was previously engaged to her former agent Jason Trawick in 2011, but the pair called it quits by 2013.
Spears' controversial 13-year conservatorship ended on November 12, 2021, after years of her father Jamie Spears controlling every aspect of her life, including financial and personal matters since 2008.
Currently, the 'Circus' singer is suing her father, who she claims took more than $6 million from her during the conservatorship. Apart from that, Spears is also in the process of writing a tell-all memoir about her life and the conservatorship.
