Donald Trump Jr spends Thanksgiving with girlfriend Kimberly and ex-wife Vanessa at Mar-a-Lago alongside Ivana's mom and Melania
The first family celebrated a very modern Thanksgiving this year at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, on Thursday. Donald Trump Jr was seen spending the holiday with his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle and former wife Vanessa.
Donald Jr's five children were also present for the holiday along with his brother Eric and his wife Lara. The president's son was seen smiling and posing for pictures, which he then shared with his Instagram account. In one of the posts, he and Guilfoyle were seen posing with his five children and in another, the children were seen posing with their mother Vanessa.
There was no sign of Ivanka Trump and her family as it is reported that she is spending the holiday with her husband Jared Kushner's family. Donald Trump's first wife Ivana Trump's mother was also present at Mar-a-Lago besides Donald Trump's current wife Melania Trump and son Barron.
Donald Trump Jr and his ex-wife Vanessa had finalized their divorce last year, which is around the same time that he started dating Guilfoyle. However, Donald Trump was not present and instead had flown to Afghanistan in order to spend the day with troops for a surprise base visit.
POTUS had taken to Twitter to wish everyone a 'Happy Thanksgiving' and had shared a picture of himself and Melania at Tuesday's Turkey pardoning. He had also written the message, "Melania and I wish all Americans a very happy and blessed Thanksgiving!" The first lady also took to social media to say, "May you all have a blessed Thanksgiving! Enjoy time with your family and friends. To those in our military who are serving overseas, you are in our thoughts and prayers - our nation is thankful for all you do!"
This is the first holiday that the Trump family is spending at Mar-a-Lago ever since they officially changed their residence from New York to Florida.
