Trump impeachment: Rapper Plies takes a dig at the president in viral Instagram video: 'U finna get impeached, bi**h'
Rapper Plies just took a sarcastic dig at President Donald Trump in a hilarious Instagram video. Amid the political controversies surrounding the impeachment, the president has been impeached on Wednesday by the Democratic-led House of Representatives for obstruction of Congress and abuse of power related to his dealings with Ukraine.
Ahead of the vote, a number of celebrities took to social media to share their thoughts on the matter. Plies, who gained prominence right after the release of his debut single 'Shawty' featuring T-Pain, posted a snarky clip addressed straight to the president.
In a short video, Plies looks into the camera while flaunting his gold teeth, laughs and says, "U finna get impeached, bi**h!" Even though he didn't say a word more, the video has already gone viral with more than 261,000 views.
The Florida rapper is quite popular for making comments on current affairs with a bout of confidence and cracking jokes about it. No sooner did he post it, fans bombarded the video with their own thoughts about the political scenario.
"Not getting passed the Senate though, and the opposition has done nothing to prepare for the 2020 elections, so we'll be seeing him for 4 more years," one follower wrote and another posted, "If he gets impeached he's still going to run and get re-elected. You guys should be happy to have a president that puts his people first. Here in Canada, we got a dictator who hates his own people and sends all of our money to other countries."
Meanwhile, many others simply laughed about the clip. "My daily dose of Plies right on time!" one comment read and another said, "This guy is a riot! Put him on television!"
Trump is the third president in the United States history to be impeached after Andrew Johnson in 1868 and Bill Clinton in 1998. Richard Nixon resigned before he could be impeached in 1974.
