POTUS Donald Trump is not pleased that his wife and first lady Melania Trump was never put on the cover of any magazine during her time at the White House. Former First Lady Michelle Obama, 56, on the other hand, graced the covers of 12 magazines during her tenure. Melania, 50, has not been seen on any covers while her husband Trump has been president.

On Friday night, December 25, Trump took to Twitter to retweet a comment from right-wing publication Breitbart which slammed the 'elitist snobs in the fashion press', with Trump saying Melania is "the greatest of all time".

Trump had shared the news and had called out the magazines though he did not make any comments on the bomb that had exploded in Nashville on Friday morning nor delivered an update on his thoughts on the COVID-19 economic relief bill. The Breitbart article that Trump retweeted spoke about Melania's stunning outfit which she left the White House in on December 23 for Mar-a-Lago. She was seen looking slick as she rocked a pair of black leather Louboutin boots while departing the White House for Palm Beach, Florida. She sported the gorgeous boots designed by Eleonor Alta which sell for around $2,195 and have a four-inch heel. She paired the boots with a double-breasted cascading back wool coat by Azzedine Alaia which sells for around $6,610.

She had accessorized her outfit with a pair of jet black rectangular sunglasses similar to sunglasses made by Balenciaga. Breitbart had written, "The elitist snobs in the fashion press have kept the most elegant First Lady in American history off the covers of their magazines for 4 consecutive years." Trump has always been of the opinion that his wife was treated unfairly and had been overlooked when it came to gracing a magazine cover unlike Michelle Obama who had made frequent appearances.

Many social media users seemed to be in disagreement with Trump and took to the comments section to say so. One such user shared, "No, actually that ELISTIST FLOTUS is having a WHITE HOUSE TENNIS PAVILLION built using OUR MONEY less than a month before she leaves. HOW TONE DEAF IS THAT. What a SNOB."

Another user added, "I don’t think so period. Most of her fashion choices have been horrendous. She’s an escort from Epstein’s heard. And she tore up Jacki-O’s Rosegarden. Looking forward to never seeing her again."

"I preferred that nude outfit she wore for that one shoot! And don’t get me started on that fashionably forward hand placement over her lady pocket! I think she did a PHENOMENAL job showing every square inch of herself to the world! And then some!" commented another.

Only a few social media users seemed to be in agreement with Trump and supported what he was saying. One such user wrote, "Their loss. They could have sold more copies than they ever have. Melania is the prettiest, most gracious and intelligent First Lady in US history; only fitting as she is matched with the most humorous, brilliant, big hearted Husband in our history."

Another added, "Melania is the most beautiful First Lady of all time."
