Dolly Parton posts adorable throwback pic with husband Carl Dean on Thanksgiving, fans go gaga
Dolly Parton took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her private life on the beautiful occasion of Thanksgiving. The 75-year-old posted a throwback picture with her husband Carl Dean. Her husband is an extremely private person and doesn't seem to be in news for any reason whatsoever.
Sharing the picture on Instagram, the singer wrote, "Happy #Thanksgiving from me and mine to you and yours." In the photo, Dolly and Carl can be seen smiling and sitting close to each other as they pose for a happy picture. Dolly is dolled-up in a black dress with white ruffles while her husband looked elegant in a suit.

Carl Dean is one of the most private people associated with the entertainment industry. He is rarely seen in any of the pictures shared by Dolly on her social media handles. Recently, Dolly shared another throwback picture with her husband and captioned, "Find you a partner who will support you like my Carl does."
The couple got married in 1966 and has never been in the media limelight since then. Even though Dolly has become one of the biggest artists in the world over the decade, she has never brought her family into the public eye. In an interview, Dolly explained why her husband is so private and why she liked to keep him out of the limelight even after she became a global icon.
Speaking to ET, she explained, "He's like a quiet, reserved person and he figured if he ever got out there in that, he would never get a minute's peace and he is right about that." Further, she added, "He said, 'I didn't choose this world, I chose you and you chose that world. But we can keep our lives separate and together.' And we do and we have. We have been together 56 years, married 54."

The couple has been married for nearly 60 years, however, they do not have kids. Explaining how it was god's choice for her to Oprah Winfrey, she said, "Since I had no kids, and my husband was pretty independent, I had freedom. I think a big part of my whole success is the fact that I was free to work and I didn't have children."
