A recent bombshell report has come up, claiming Duane 'the Dog' Chapman did not actually propose to his new girlfriend Moon Angell on The Dr. Oz show last week, but he did so just three months after his wife Beth’s death in June 2019.

The 66-year-old reality TV star proposed to Beth's best friend and assistant in September, a source told The Sun. At the time, Dog was hospitalized for heart issues.

Dog and Beth's daughter Bonnie allegedly drove to her father's house in a bid to find out where he was hospitalized, when she found out about her father's proposal to Angell.

“She was trying to find clues on where he could be. She found his Apple Watch and went through his messages," the insider explained. “She found out that Duane had proposed to Moon via text message. She said yes.”

Following the bombshell revelation, Bonnie reportedly left the house “distraught” and “in tears”.

“She cried for hours to family friends. Bonnie and Moon have never had a close relationship, especially after her mother died," the insider continued. “She was heartbroken, and so were his other children. That’s how the family found out they were dating.”

According to the source, Moon accepted the proposal. However, Dog did not give her a ring or plan their wedding.

The Bounty Hunter was seen in a clip proposing to her once again on an upcoming episode of The Dr. Oz Show, which airs February 3.

“Will you marry me?” Dog asked Moon, who was maid of honor at his 2006 wedding to Beth.

However, TMZ reported that just like the September proposal, a source thinks that this one was "not legit" as just like the earlier proposal, there was no ring and "no engagement".

“He was overly emotional and got caught up in the moment," the source told the outlet.

This comes after another insider told The Sun that Dog had "threatened" his children with a proposal.

“Dog’s family thinks the whole Dr. Oz proposal is crazy. None of them are fans of Moon - and none of them are happy about the relationship," the insider claimed.

Having said that, Dog's daughters Lyssa and Cecily have been quite vocal in their disapproval of the blossoming relationship.

“You’re a disgusting woman," Lyssa had tweeted, addressing Moon in December. "Any person who moves in on a man weeks after losing his wife, who you were supposed to be a ‘friend’ to, is the lowest scum on the planet.”
