Tragedy continues to dog the Chapman family. Just months after losing his wife Beth Chapman to cancer, reality star and professional bounty hunter Duane 'Dog' Chapman has been hospitalized after possibly suffering a major heart attack.

TMZ reports that Chapman was hospitalized over the weekend after suffering a heart emergency that may require corrective surgery. Sources reportedly said the reality TV star was rushed to a hospital from his home in Colorado after feeling some pain in his chest.

Beth Chapman died on June 26 at the age of 51. She made her way into the collective heart of the public when she co-starred with her husband Duane on 'Dog the Bounty Hunter'.  Her death continues to haunt her husband, who only recently suffered an emotional breakdown when asked by Dax Shepard about the loss of his wife during an episode of Shepard's podcast 'Armchair Expert'.

Dog mourned her passing in a Twitter post shared on the day of her death which read: "It's 5:32 in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain. Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven. We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side."

The tragic passing of his wife isn't the only stressful thing that has happened to the reality star in recent times. Reports say that the 66-year-old actor nearly fell victim to a $430k check scam out of Dubai on top of having his store broken into by thieves who made off with some of his late wife's personal belongings.

Chapman's current condition is unclear but a representative speaking on Dog's behalf confirmed that he was hospitalized saying, "I can confirm Dog is under doctor's care and is resting comfortably. Thank you for all of your well wishes - keep 'em coming."
