Duane "Dog" Chapman's daughter criticized reports claiming he was out on a date with a mystery woman just weeks after his beloved wife's death.

Bonnie Chapman hit back at the unfounded rumors on her Instagram Story on Monday, clarifying who her 66-year-old father was with that evening, Daily Mail reports.

"P***ed on my father’s behalf that he can’t go on a business dinner without someone speculating he’s on a date," the 20-year-old wrote. "Leave our family alone please. Leave my father alone, let him try to continue our business in peace."

According to her, the mystery woman in question was not only part of Dog's crew, but the pair were, in fact, joined by many others for the dinner.

"If you really wanna know who she is, she’s a member of our crew, and dad was out with 8 other people at that dinner," the young star added.

Dog The Bounty Hunter was pictured Saturday outside an Italian restaurant with a mystery woman, raising speculation among his fans whether he was already back on the market.

The rumors came just months after Dog -- real name Duane Lee Chapman Sr. --lost his wife Beth after a two-year battle with throat cancer. The stage II throat cancer diagnosis was announced in September 2017, and Beth was said to be cancer-free in December that year following surgery to remove a tumor. However, the deadly disease relapsed in November 2018 and spread to her lungs, leading to stage IV lung cancer.

The upcoming season of Dog's Most Wanted, premiering September 4 on WGN America, will feature Dog's final days with his late wife. During a recent burglary at Dog's Edgewater, Colorado merchandise store, some of his late wife's personal items were stolen, including her bounty-hunting gear.

The items were put on display at the store as a memorial to the beloved wife and mother, who tragically died at age 51.

In a recent conversation with TMZ, Dog revealed a psychic message from Beth caused him to wonder whether the burglary was an inside job.
"A psychic called and said that she was contacted by Beth that said it's an inside job," he said. "So what does that mean? It wasn't one of my kids!"

That said, the distasteful act resulted in the loss of thousands of dollars worth of clothing and merchandise.

"My message to the guy is, if you turn yourself in within the next 48 hours, I will not press charges," Dog said during a press conference on August 2. "I will try to get you probation, a job. But if you don't, there will be no mercy."
