GREENVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA: MrBeast, the immensely popular YouTube content creator and philanthropist, found himself in a state of disbelief when he encountered a particularly harsh troll. The individual accused MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, of "playing God" with his charitable endeavors. The troll's argument revolved around the notion that by helping others in such a grand manner, MrBeast was somehow attempting to take up the role of the government in providing aid to those in need. The troll suggested that MrBeast's actions might discourage the government from fulfilling its responsibilities toward society's less fortunate.

MrBeast has become widely recognized for his philanthropic acts and extravagant challenges showcased in his YouTube videos. One notable instance of his philanthropy involved providing hearing aids to a thousand individuals, an act that garnered immense praise and admiration from the YouTube community. Despite his selfless efforts and the overwhelming support he receives from his massive subscriber base of 172 million on his main YouTube channel, MrBeast continues to face criticism and negativity from a faction of haters.

'Playing god'

In the tweet, MrBeast expressed that the tweets "genuinely can't be serious anymore" in response to the comment made by a troll with the username cav3y, who stated that MrBeast's actions were quite bothersome. MrBeast wrote, "These tweets genuinely can’t be serious anymore 😭."

The troll's criticism centered around the belief that MrBeast was "playing god" by engaging in activities that involved having fun with individuals who were less fortunate and using them as he pleased. Moreover, the troll argued that these actions could potentially hinder the government's efforts in resolving the underlying issues. A troll sarcastically remarked that MrBeast seemed willing to do anything for views, implying that his philanthropic deeds might be driven more by a desire for attention rather than genuine selflessness.

The troll wrote, "Honestly mr beast annoys me so much. not only is this "playing god" (essentially just having fun with people less fortunate than you and doing as you please with them) but he is also discouraging the government from fixing the problem. anything for views though right?"

'He got your attention at least'

Following the exchange between MrBeast and the troller, a significant number of users took to social media to voice their perspectives on the matter. One user wrote, "This is what fuels the engine of X , interaction , suspense , action ( a lot of drama) and satisfaction. 🙅‍♂️" Another user wrote, "Ignore the noise." One user stated, "Well he got your attention at least." Another user commented, "Never seen someone upset abt helping less fortunate kids.. smh some people will always hate."
