Dixie D'Amelio discusses Charli D'Amelio and Landon Barker's 'dating draft' for her
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The dynamic D'Amelio sisters, Charli and Dixie, are back in the spotlight with the premiere of Season 3 of their hit Hulu series, 'The D'Amelio Show'. Known for their meteoric rise on TikTok, Charli and Dixie D'Amelio have a combined following of over 208 million fans.
In an exclusive interview with Yahoo Entertainment, the sisters shared that this season promises a rollercoaster ride through their careers, family dynamics, and dating lives.
What's going on in Dixie's dating life?
As the D'Amelio sisters gear up for a new season, viewers can anticipate a mix of exciting career milestones and drama that comes with the territory. Charli, 19, is currently dating Landon Barker, son of Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, and in this season, the spotlight turns to find a boyfriend for Dixie, 22, who amusingly asserts that she's enjoying the single life.
"It was definitely fun getting poked at all season about boyfriends," Dixie said. "I want to be alone. I'm over [it]."
Charli revealed, "It's really fun to have, as a younger sibling, and my boyfriend Landon, going to the older sibling, being like, 'So what's going on in your dating life?'"
Dixie added with a laugh, "They love that I'm single. [They] did a dating draft!"
"It's just because we like to stir the pot for our own entertainment," Charli said.
What's next in the career aspect?
Beyond dating escapades, Charli's career takes her on a whirlwind journey, from modeling and attending fashion shows to hosting events and performing on the 'Dancing With the Stars' tour. Viewers will get an inside look at her co-hosting gig at the Kids' Choice Awards, a highlight of her career.
"What I'm excited for everyone to see is the Dancing With the Stars tour and what that was like," Charli said. "I got the chance to co-host the Kids' Choice Awards and that was another highlight of my career and something that I was very proud of."
The D'Amelio family continues to juggle their TikTok content creation while focusing on their D'Amelio Footwear business and various other ventures under the family umbrella.
Despite their fame, the sisters acknowledge that they've missed out on some typical teenage experiences that non-famous peers might take for granted.
"The important milestones of graduating high school, getting to have a senior year of high school. I think that's something that would have been really cool to be a part of," Charli said.
“Just a lot of those very stereotypical teenage, going to college moments," she added.
