Controversies don’t seem to leave ‘The Flash’ actor behind. In the past few months, Ezra Miller has had been accused of many allegations, from telling members of a North Carolina chapter of the Ku Klux Klan to kill themselves with their guns, to being tagged by the parents of Gibson Iron Eyes as a brainwasher who groomed their child. And now, a disturbing video showing the actor choking a woman at a bar in Iceland, which went viral in 2020, is back. But this time with new alleged details about the incident.

In a conversation with Variety on Thursday, June 30, the unnamed woman, who wants to remain anonymous out of concern for her privacy, recollected her meeting with Miller at the pub and then, striking a conversation with them. She said that she saw wounds on Miller's sandal-clad feet, which the actor claimed to be injuries that were a result of a fight. Following this, she jokingly told Miller, "But just so you know, I could take you in a fight." To which Miller replied, "You really want to fight?" She claims that she thought the actor was playing along, so the woman told the actor to meet her in the smoking area outside in two minutes. Miller came and then grabbed her by the neck and choked her. At first, the woman thought they were not serious but soon realized that she was in a dangerous situation. “I think it’s just fun and games — but then it wasn’t,” she said.

Carlos Reynir, then a bartender at Prikið Kaffihús, who claimed Miller grabbed him by the throat and spit in his face during the early, pre-vaccine days of the coronavirus pandemic, also confirmed the incident and said it was not the only altercation he saw Miller get into at the bar. “There was always something with Ezra,” he said while narrating the incident. He too recollected the whole scene and said, "[Miller] grabs me by the throat as I’m trying to usher them out the [back] door and tells me they’re not leaving. They proceeded to spit in my face several times, so with the final push I closed and locked the door."

The 2020 Iceland incident

The incident took place at Prikið Kaffihús, a bar in central Reykjavik in Iceland, on April 1, 2020, around 6 pm as reported by Variety. Miller had been a frequent visitor to the bar whenever they were in town. The seven-second video shows Miller grabbing the woman by the throat, and throwing her to the ground. At this point, the person filming says, “Woah, bro. Bro,” and stops shooting, with the footage ending abruptly.
