PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA: HGTV's 'Zillow Gone Wild' recently featured 'The Rainbow House' and bagged a spot in the Top 8 in the semi-finals. The abode was decked up with vibrant colors and sparkling lights. HGTV host Jack McBrayer visited Joshua Tree, California, a desert community known for its artistic values.

The 6,900 s1 ft house was built in 1959 with meticulously hand-painted renovation, designed, and created over the past two years by Joshua Tree artist Patrick Hasson. The place also had a custom hand-painted coffee table with a raised texture. Jack was in awe of the yellow string lights.

The rainbow house notably out-wilded the competition with waves of vibrant colors and sparkling lights. Jack noted, "Sporting a vivid painting job, it just might have what it takes to find success and the winner crown at the end of the rainbow."

Who created 'The Rainbow House'?

Former filmmaker turned self-taught painter Patrick Hasson created the jaw-dropping rainbow house which was recently featured on the HGTV show, 'Zillow Gone Wild'. He purchased the El Reposo Street property called 'Rancho El Reposo' in 2013 and sold it last year.

He teased the appearance of his custom-painted house on his social media and noted, "I had already sold the house when the episode was shot, but they did interview me." He further noted, "You'll notice my portraits of Jesika Von Rabbit, Gary Arce, Brant Bjork, and Dave" in the Rainbow house.

Who are the current owners of 'The Rainbow House'?

HGTV stars Nick and Mark are the current owners of the rainbow house. Matt hails from Minnesota and went to school in Boston, and currently lives and works in LA. He is a legal aid attorney who represents elderly victims of financial exploitation. Matt and Nick have recently purchased a neon rainbow house with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a fully enclosed, private backyard.

The bedrooms featured bright pink, neon orange, and blue color contrast and the backyard has a rainbow and desert theme. The backspace also includes a cowboy pool, fire pit, barbecue grill, hammock, outdoor dining, and plenty of rainbow art accents, against the natural desert ambiance. The homeowners have also listed the property on Airbnb for rent.
