OMAHA, NEBRASKA: 'Zillow Gone Wild' host Jack McBrayer debuted his quest for the weirdest homes in the premiere episode of the HGTV show. He visited Nebraska to explore Andrew Flair's $750,000 Missile Silo. The silo was the hidden man cave of Andrew.

In the episode, Andrew revealed that he bought the place because he figured that this was the coolest thing that he could possibly do. He further revealed that he and his friends "had a blast renovating it." The renovation of the Silo cost the place owner around $150 -175K.

Andrew also shared the details of the HGTV's missile silo and noted that the place was all underground and "covered in concrete and if for some reason a bomb goes off, you'll be safe." He also claimed that he had tested the zombie-proof man cave and the Silo was safe for living.

'Zillow Gone Wild' missile silo features modern appliances

The 1,256 sq ft 'Zillow Gone Wild' missile silo had 1 bed and 1 bathroom with a studio apartment. The Silo had upgraded modern appliances including, a refrigerator, microwave, and theatre screen to watch zombie apocalypse movies. The Silo also had a popcorn machine and foosball table.

However, if the buyer wants to stay underground then they need to have a few more things to make it more comfortable. Andrew Flair's silo would need a few adjustments considering it's not shaped like the typical home. The Missile Silos were built in the early to late 50s when America and the Soviet Union were in nuclear war. The place was designed to withstand a nuclear attack.

Is Missile Silo the 'wackiest' home in 'Zillow Gone Wild'?

HGTV's latest show, 'Zillow Gone Wild', not only features the wackiest abodes but also organizes, the 'Wild and Win' contest. Host Jack McBrayer will rank each property shown in an episode according to its creativity, commitment and wackadoo and the viewers had to guess the wackiest house to win a whopping cash prize of $25,000.

However, the Missile Silo appeared to be on the list of the wackiest place as it featured all the three essential elements. The place had a level of its creativity with the stunning renovation of an old and dusty missile silo. The place also had a commitment to its theme as Andrew Flair maintained the original aesthetics. Last but not least, Missile Silo had an underground pond for boating which was the wackadoo element of the place.
