Did Seo Ye-ji LIE about studying in Madrid? Truth behind actress' alleged 'bad behavior' in Spain
South Korean actress Seo Ye-ji who has found herself facing one allegation after the other amid controversies regarding bullying, an abusive relationship, is now being slammed by an alleged former friend in Spain. The 'It's Okay Not To Be Okay' star who has previously claimed to have been studying in Spain was accused of behaving badly with classmates. The Internet also expressed doubts over her actually attending the university as there is no 'proof' of it.
A YouTube channel 'Banana Issue' released the alleged exposé claiming that the info in the video and a picture were given by person 'B' who attended the same church as Ye-ji. "We've released this video after we received information about Seo Ye Ji's time abroad in Spain. We have information from 'B', who attended the same church as Seo Ye Ji at the time." The video further talked about how Ye-ji was only 'nice' to people when meeting them but 'cursed' them behind their back.

Ye-ji has spoken about her education and spending time in Madrid in many interviews. In the light of new controversy where the actress was accused of lying about getting an education from the Complutense University of Madrid, her agency released a statement that said, "It is a fact Seo Ye Ji was accepted to 'Complutense University of Madrid' and prepared to attend, but she was not able to attend the college regularly because of her activities in Korea." The university has additionally released a statement which says, "We cannot check if Seo Ye Ji was accepted into our university since it is a private matter. According to our guidelines, we do not disclose whether a student is accepted or not," Yonhap News reported.

To add more to the Spain controversy, a person 'B' who has attended the same church as Ye-ji came forward to claim, "Seo Ye Ji looked like a nice person, so I thought she was a good kid. However, she would act friendly in front of her friends, but curse them behind their backs. All the Koreans who lived in Madrid know about it. Seo Ye Ji was not even accepted into the university."
To add to the shocking revelation, B alleged, "I helped her a lot and brought her things she needed, but she treated me like a maid. I lived only in Spain for a long time, so I didn't know much about Korean culture when I was young. Seo Ye Ji told me, 'In Korea, friends tell each other the passwords to their bank accounts, so tell me yours too.' She got so angry, that I gave her the password, but she used the money for a flight to Barcelona and didn't give it back. I contacted her, and she talked to me in a way as if to say, 'You couldn't even look at me in Korea.'"
Previously, Ye-ji was dropped out of the upcoming project 'Island' amid all the bullying rumors. There have been reports how Ye Ji was the one to allegedly 'bully' then beau Kim Jung-hyun to drop out of MBC drama 'TIME'. Later, Jung-hyun asserted that the 'TIME' controversy was not Ye-ji's fault.
