Did Molly and Kelly replace Vanessa and Colt on 'The Last Resort'? '90 Day Fiance' alum reveals tragic reason behind TLC snub
MARATHON, FLORIDA: While fans have been enthralled with the latest '90 Day Fiance' spinoff, '90 Day: The Last Resort,' Colt Johnson's wife, Vanessa Guerra, said not only were the couple scheduled to be on the couples' therapy series, but Molly Hopkins and Kelly Brown functioned as their "replacements."
"We start filming in Reno, which is where he broke his leg," Vanessa explained in an Instagram Q&A with followers on September 17. "We were only on what was supposed to be the first episode and we were the first couple to start filming. Never made it to Florida. Molly and Kelly were our replacements."
In another remark, the TLC alum was asked if they would ever return to reality television. "We were asked to film something else and declined," Vanessa said on an Instagram story.

Colt's accident was initially revealed to fans in December 2022, when the '90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?' star required three operations to heal a fractured leg and damaged meniscus after being injured on a trampoline.
"We were filming a scene on a trampoline that went terribly wrong," she revealed months later in February, but she didn't elaborate. Vanessa informed fans that his recuperation was going well after stating that the Las Vegas native was unlikely to return to the franchise.
"Oh look, the show Colt and I were filming before they had the genius idea of putting him on a trampoline and telling him EXACTLY how to jump which led to his broken leg," Vanessa posted on Instagram Stories after the series was announced in July. "Good thing they bailed on us as soon as they realized he was no good for content anymore."
