LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: On Friday, November 3, the cast of 'Friends,' including Matt LeBlanc reportedly reunited to pay their last respects to Matthew Perry as he was laid to rest at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles, as per ET Online.

However, some internet users were quick to point out that while several online media reports suggested that all of Perry's main five castmates from 'Friends,' including Matt LeBlanc, attended his funeral, the latter was not seen in the initial images released from the funeral. 

This prompted social media users to seek confirmation about LeBlanc's attendance at Perry's funeral. The actor was found dead in a hot tub at his home on October, 28, and was buried just a mile away from Warner Bros Studios where 'Friends' was filmed. 

Internet asks about Matt LeBlanc after Matthew Perry's funeral 

Following the release of a few initial images and videos from Perry's funeral, some social media users claimed that they failed to spot LeBlanc at the somber event alongside his 'Friends' co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, and David Schwimmer.

Although several online reports said that LeBlanc attended the funeral with the remaining cast members of 'Friends,' some internet users questioned his presence by sharing their comments under an X (formerly Twitter) post by the official account of 'The Today Show.' 

"The cast of Friends have attended the private funeral of their co-star Matthew Perry at the Forest Lawn Church of the Hills on Friday. Dressed in black suits, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, and David Schwimmer arrived as a quartet to farewell their friend," the tweet read. 

"Where is @MattLeBlanc," one asked. "Matthew Perry was your friend Matt le blanc. Why weren’t u there," another wrote.  "Matt why weren’t you there," one questioned.

Fans provide assurance of Matt LeBlanc's presence at Matthew Perry's funeral 

Amid the confusion surrounding LeBlanc's presence at Perry's funeral, several fans took to social media to assure that the former was present at the event. 

"Matt Leblanc was there too, but didn’t appear in the video. RIP Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing)," one clarified. 

"He was, just because he wasn’t in this video you just assume," another added. 

"He was," one fan simply wrote. "Some are saying he was there now," a fourth said. 

One said, "Yes, hopefully people will start realizing because he was the closest to Matthew Perry, so he was definitely there."

While another remarked, "Why do you assume he wasn’t because he’s not on a 5 second video?"

Matt LeBlanc joined 'Friends' costars for Matthew Perry's funeral 

According to a report by the Daily Mail, Perry's 'Friends' costars were reportedly seen consoling each other outside the Forest Lawn Church of the Hills, where the former's remains were taken before he was buried. 

Aniston, Kudrow, Cox, and Schwimmer reportedly arrived as a quartet dressed in black and were joined outside the church. Matt LeBlanc also arrived at an hour-long funeral ceremony, as per the outlet.

The actors were reportedly seen in conversation with other well-wishers present at the venue. "Ms Aniston was one of the first to arrive. She kept herself to herself. This is a high profile gathering," an onlooker told the publication.
