The 36-year-old rapper started trending a day after a sex tape that included Nelly got posted on his Instagram Stories

Twitter is a place that amazes people often, and when and how someone is going to trend, nobody knows. Sometimes not even the person who's trending! That’s what happened with Lil Fizz.

The 36-year-old rapper was all over the social media platform on Wednesday, February 9, with everyone talking about his 'sex tape'. However, what is even more interesting is that no one can prove they've actually seen it.

Fizz, whose real name is Dreux Pierre Frédéric, started trending a day after a sex tape featuring Nelly was posted on his Instagram Stories. The now-deleted controversial footage did not show the face of the 47-year-old but he could be heard in it while getting oral sex from an unidentified  woman.

Did Lil Fizz drop a sex tape?

There is no confirmation that Fizz has indeed dropped a sex tape. Also, what led to the Twitter trend is unclear at the time of publishing this report. But definitely, people enjoyed the rumor a lot with one user tweeting, “Nelly, Lil Fizz, AND YAHYA.. I’m lying about the last one. I’m just tryna manifest it.” The second user said, “Lil fizz and Nelly been catchin hell all day.” “Man somebody said Lil Fizz got mo head than shoulder YALL lmfaooooooooo I’m crying dawg !!!” the third one added.

One user wrote: “Wait… Who got Lil Fizz nudes? I’ve been dying to see all these years.” Another person commented, “Where lil fizz video ?! I wanna see that mushroom !!!” A tweet read, “Seen videos of Nelly and Lil Fizz’s today and yuck to them both. Extra yucks for Lil Fizz tho. That’ll be all.” Another tweet stated: “I honestly don't know whether to be more mad at Ashanti & Moniece then Lil Fizz & Nelly..”

While there is no comment from Lil Fizz yet, Nelly has issued an apology for his sex tape. He told TMZ: “I sincerely apologize to the young lady and her family, this is unwanted publicity for her/them. This was an old video that was private and never meant to go public.”

Representatives for the Grillz artist expressed their concern that hackers got hold of his personal data, and they may leak “further sensitive details, including personal information, passwords and financial documents, could be leaked online,” The Daily Mail reported.

However, people on Twitter were more about making fun of Nelly than being concerned for his private data. A person sharing a meme of Drake, wrote: “Me scrolling Twitter looking for this Nelly video yall talking about.” Another one also shared a meme and referred to the Nelly-Madonna controversy, while noting: “Nelly video leaks... Madonna:” Last month, the Air Force Ones performer took a dig at Madonna after she posted a series of her photos in lingerie. At the time, Nelly had commented that “some things should be covered up” which attracted a lot of criticism.

On his latest controversy, one user tweeted, “Ashanti when she sees why Damn Nelly is trending.” The second user stated, “Now I see why #Ashanti left #nelly.” “Me looking at nelly video that’s out right now #nelly #nellyvideo,” a tweet added.
