LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Britney Spears made a candid revelation on Friday, August 11, via social media, announcing that she will not undergo Botox anymore.
In an Instagram video, the 41-year-old singer claimed to have discovered an alternative to the cosmetic procedure.
The video showed a close-up of Spears, with her blonde hair cascading over her chest. She appeared makeup-free with a Sio Beauty patch on her forehead. In the caption, she provided the reason for her preference for the at-home product.

Sharing her views on Instagram, Spears said, "I did Botox and I never was really happy with it because it swole [sic] up my forehead and made the heaviness of my eyelids droop over and it literally looked like someone beat me up."
Spears continued, "To pay that much money to look like someone beat you up for the first two weeks. What's the point?"
Speaking about the Sio patch, she said, "It just really brightens my eyes and lifts my forehead, without all those needles."
In the caption for the video, Spears wrote, "OK … I have a big forehead and I seriously need bangs, but I feel like I can't see sometimes with bangs!!"
Spears further wrote, "Too many times, these so-called “best doctors” do amazing Botox. Never again in Los Angeles."
She recalled her first encounter with Botox was a lip augmentation in New York. "WAY different than LA … so subtle, it was an adorable pout!!!!" she wrote.
She said the initial changes were soon overshadowed by subsequent injections. "For probably 10 to 15 years, I haven't had mine done right, and what's with the times when one eyebrow is up and one is down? I can't even be seen for 2 weeks," she wrote.
"My friend's sisters think it's funny and laugh but I'd like to see what they would do if someone did that to their face. So of course, I go back and show the doctor," Spears wrote further.
"She says that's completely normal, and I said, 'Then why can't I go anywhere for two weeks?' and my friend's sisters laughed," stated.
Spears concluded the comprehensive caption with an emphatic declaration, "F**K BOTOX, it is horrific!!!"

Has Britney Spears reconnected with her sons?
Page Six reported that Spears has reconnected with her teenage sons, whom she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline, after being estranged for a year.
Mark Vincent Kaplan, Federline's attorney, revealed that the children had been in touch with Spears shortly before the Maui wildfire. Kaplan said, "They spoke probably a couple of weeks ago."
However, Kaplan indicated he was unaware of any communication between the boys and Spears since moving to Hawaii.
“They are not personally affected, but there’s people in the area that are dying and having their homes destroyed, so it’s very traumatic,” Kaplan said, adding, “Obviously, right now, everyone is very sad about what’s going on there with the fires and the casualties from the fires, but other than the trauma from that, they’re very happy to be there.”
