Did Al Roker insult Dylan Dreyer’s husband on air? ‘Today’ host throws object at weatherman in anger
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘Today’ meteorologist Al Roker recently made a savage joke about co-host Dylan Dreyer’s husband on live air.
Dreyer didn’t like Al’s remark about her husband, Brian Fichera, and lashed out at her co-host by throwing her notes at him.
The incident transpired during ‘The Third Hour’ segment of the morning show where Al joked about Brian’s physique comparing it to a correspondent’s husband's physique.
This didn’t sit well with Dreyer who immediately picked up her notes and threw them at the meteorologist sitting on the same panel with her.
Dylan Dreyer wanted to ‘paper-cut’ Al Roker for insulting her husband
It all started when entertainment correspondent Chloe Melas brought her husband Brian and son to the studio.
Brian showed off his muscular figure in tight pants and a shirt. Al couldn't help but make a comparison between Chloe's husband and Dylan's husband.
He said, "You know what's interesting — your Brian and Chloe's Brian...very much the same physique!"
Dreyer looked at Al, gritted her teeth into an awkward smile, and tossed her stack of papers across the desk to Al, who was sitting two seats away.
Craig Melvin and Sheinelle Jones, who were sitting in between ducked out of the way, startled.
Al laughed at Dreyer’s reaction to his statement as Chloe tried to calm the situation by stating that her husband is "actually a big runner."
Dreyer then asked Al, "Did that paper cut you? I wanted that to paper-cut you!” Al burst out laughing stating that he was fine.
Later in the segment, Craig Melvin reminded the viewers about Al and Dylan’s incident and said, “That was a Today show first! I don't think I've ever seen Dylan throw something…”
Dylan Dreyer’s time off with family
The 'Today’ host took time off from work to travel to Italy with her family in July. She shared several snapshots from her trip featuring her family eating and exploring Sicily.

She posted it on her Instagram and captioned the post, "Who needs luggage when you’ve got your family?? Laughing through lost luggage and extreme heat in Sicily! What a trip!"
She also stated that she lost her luggage in Amsterdam. Dylan shared her plight in another post. She wrote, “Who needs luggage when you’ve got your family?? Laughing through lost luggage and extreme heat in Sicily! What a trip!”
