Demi Moore blasts ex-husband Ashton Kutcher for 'shaming' her by posting underwear snap in 2009
Demi Moore has slammed her former husband Ashton Kutcher for "shaming" her by sharing a picture of her in underwear from the time that they were married.
The 56-year-old Moore recalled the incident in her new memoir 'Inside Out' and referred to the image that Kutcher had shared of her thinking it was a "good-natured joke".
The picture showed Moore leaning forward in her underwear which was taken when the pair were in the Turks and Caicos Islands. The 'Ghost' star spoke about the time when she battled with alcoholism and how Kutcher would often humiliate her by sharing pictures of her in her drunken state.
"It was [..] confusing. Ashton had encouraged me to go in this direction. When I went too far, though, he let me know how he felt by showing a picture he'd taken of me resting my head on the toilet the night before. It seemed like a good-natured joke at the time. But it was really just shaming," Moore shared.
The picture comes after Kutcher had criticized his ex-wife Moore for the shocking claims she had made about their relationship in her memoir. Kutcher took to his social media to urge fans to "text him for the truth" as he seemingly threw some shade at Moore.
He claimed that he had resisted the temptation to post a "snarky tweet" for the sake of his family — his wife Mila Kunis, and their two children, four-year-old Wyatt and two-year-old Dimitri.
On Tuesday, September 24, he tweeted, "I was about to push the button on a really snarky tweet. Then I saw my son, daughter, and wife and I deleted it." The tweet comes after the release of Moore's new memoir titled 'Inside Out' and gets into details about her eight-year marriage to Kutcher and their 2013 divorce.
