Demi Lovato, on Thursday, September 5, evening took to Instagram to share unedited bikini photos with her fans and followers.

The singer shared along with the photos that she had faced and overcome her "biggest fear" while sharing the sun-kissed picture. The 27-year-old was seen sporting a leopard print two-piece on what looked to be a trip to Bora Bora earlier this year.

She had captioned the picture, "This is my biggest fear. A photo of me in a bikini unedited. And guess what, it's CELLULIT!!!! I'm just literally sooooo tired of being ashamed of my body, editing it (yes the other bikini pics were edited — and I hate that I did that but it’s the truth) so that others think I’m THEIR idea of what beautiful is, but it’s just not me."

In the picture, she is seen looking over her shoulder showing off her stunning hourglass figure. She was also sporting a pair of sunglasses as she stepped out of a pool while on a holiday at the Four Seasons.

Lovato revealed that she wants to begin a new chapter in her life where she is authentic. "So here's me, unashamed, unafraid and proud to own a body that has fought through so much and will continue to amaze me when I hopefully give birth one day," she had written.

Many celebrities took to social media to share their support of Lovato. Celebrities such as Ashley Graham, Jenna Dewan, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ashley Greene and Scooter Braun all encouraged Lovato to stay true to herself and complimented her on her decision to do so.

Lovato had previously struggled with an eating disorder and has often spoken of issues related to body dysmorphia, depression, and self-harm. She has also used her platform to educate her fans and followers about mental health and wellness.

She had earlier shared that it was great to be back on TV especially since she was not stressing about doing strenuous workouts or any crazy diets. She also shared that she was loving the 'RAWW, REAL' photo of herself.

Earlier this year, Demi Lovato deleted her Twitter handle after receiving a lot of backlash from users for laughing at rapper 21 Savage who was facing deportation. Rapper 21 Savage had been detained by ICE for overstaying his visa in the US.
