Deborra-Lee Furness sounds unfazed as 'The Kyle & Jackie O Show' host calls her 'by mistake' during the show
CANBERRA, AUSTRALIA: Deborra-Lee Furness had a surprise call when a local radio show ‘The Kyle & Jackie O Show’ called the actress during their episode on Monday, September 25.
The star who split with her partner Hugh Jackman after nearly 27 years of marriage was, however, sounded in her elements as she had a brief chat with the hosts.
Radio host checks on Deborra-Lee Furness ‘by mistake’
Co-hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O Henderson confessed that they made a call to Furness 'by mistake.'
“We have actually called you by mistake, it’s ridiculous. Seriously, this isn't a stitch up,' Kyle told Deborra-Lee, as per Daily Mail reports.
“We didn’t mean to actually call you. But now you’re here, we won’t go into it. We love you, we hope you’re well.” Kyle said, adding “I just feel it's too soon. I don't want to get involved in anything. But we love you, and you ring us when you want to chat.”
To this, the 67-year-old said, “Thank you guys, I really appreciate it. You’re really sweet,” sounding unbothered.

In a joint statement earlier this month, the ex-couple said, “We have been blessed to share almost three decades together in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.”
They further said, as per People, “Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition.”

Hugh Jackman's touching tribute to wife on their anniverary
Last April, while celebrating their marriage anniversary, the ‘Wolverine’ star posted a touching tribute to his wife on Instagram.
“I love you Deb. Today is our 27th wedding anniversary. 27 years! I love you so much,' Jackman wrote in the caption.
“Together we have created a beautiful family. And life. Your laughter, your spirit, generosity, humour, cheekiness, courage, and loyalty is an incredible gift to me. I love you with all my heart,” he added.

‘The Son’ actor, in an interview with Smooth Radio, shared his thoughts on marriage. “I think honesty and intimacy and making time [are the secret to a long and happy marriage]. You can't just assume that things will just tick along okay. You have to make time,” said Jackman.
Deboraa-Lee and Hugh share two children Oscar, 23, and Ava, 18.
