'Days of Our Lives' Season 57 Episode 214: Will Sarah and Xander hook up?
The latest episode of 'Days of Our Lives' is going to set up certain storylines that will unfold in the upcoming weeks. After Marci Miller’s character Abby Devereaux DiMera was found dead by Chad (Billy Flynn) only after a few hours they made love, the viewers went into a frenzy as the showrunners had killed off such a pivotal character.
Similar to 'General Hospital', 'Days of Our Lives' is one of the longest-running daily soaps. The writers had to come up with something interesting to cover up the loss of the daughter of legendary super-couple Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves). Previously, Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) was preparing to face the scandalous Alexander 'Alex' Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson). However, the encounter was rather steamy. Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) was getting ready to question Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) for more information. Sarah will get steamy with...?
Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) confronts Dr Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) for her brother, Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash), asking for immediate release from his medically included coma after the successful implantation of Jake's heart into Stefan O DiMera (Brandon Barash). On the other side, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) get ready to go undercover in hopes of proving Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) guilty of murder.
However, the duo is also ready to get physically involved as a suspected romance is seen brewing between both parties. However, is this steamy moment between them credible? It's not. Sarah and Xander plan to make this move in order to get the goods on Gwen. This shot in the dark can end up killing two birds with one stone. Moreover, the on-screen romance can be later developed into something substantial if the plot allows it.

Maggie's meeting with Alex is going to be unexpected and rather revealing. She of course doesn't know what she's walking into and the awkwardness is pretty obvious. Moreover, Alex is expected to have several hookups and one of the witnesses of these awkward hookups would be none other than Maggie. On the other hand, Xander and Sarah went on to search Gwen’s motel room for Sarah's mask.
Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) turns to Paulina Price-Carver (Jackée Harry) for help as she confesses that she was hoping Johnny would emerge as the winner of the twin love triangle. However, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) chose Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) instead. Before that, Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barish) was shot dead, and Dr Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Warton) said he couldn’t revive someone already dead. But he managed to keep Stefan alive.
