David Beckham reveals Victoria Beckham gave him her number on a train ticket, says he still has it
With 20 years of marriage and still going strong, undeniably, Victoria and David Beckham are one of the most adored celebrity couples ever and their open display of affection for each other has set major relationship goals for a long time.
As if the couple hadn’t given the world enough to relish, the legendary soccer player who appeared in the latest episode of 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon ' revealed yet another interesting detail about him and his beloved wife Victoria’s romantic life, which is guaranteed to tug at your heart.
Recollecting the time when he first met his wife, then a member of ‘Spice Girls’, Beckham told Fallon that he first saw Victoria when she had come to see one of his games. While she was already his favorite among the ‘Spice Girls’, David had just begun to establish himself at the Manchester United team.
Beckham further revealed that Victoria came back a week later and that’s when he thought he should try and get her number. They spoke for an hour and when it was time for her to leave, she exchanged numbers with him by writing hers on the back of a train ticket. Although it’s going to be 21 years this July since they got hitched, David has still preserved the ticket which has Victoria’s number written on it. Could it get more adorable?
Only two days ago, Victoria shared a throwback video, in which David is asked what he likes the most about her, to which he quickly responds, “I couldn’t put my finger on one thing. It was everything, the whole package. I just fell in love with it.”
Unable to contain the excitement, fans showered Victoria’s video with adorable comments. While one wrote, “You guys are literally one of the best, powerful and iconic couple in the whole world.”
“I have watched this interview a million times over the past 10 years yes I love me some Beckham family, everyone,” added another.
David and Victoria got hitched in 1999 after dating for two years. They have four children together- Brooklyn, Crux, Romeo and Harper.
