David Beckham slammed for gifting son Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz a $500K Jaguar as wedding gift
David Beckham has gifted a $500k classic Jaguar to his son Brooklyn Beckham and daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz after they exchanged vows in an extravagant ceremony on Saturday, April 9, at the actress’ billionaire father's $103 million estate in Florida. According to reports, David Beckham is an investor in the England-based company Lunaz, which has restored and electrified the 1954 Jaguar XK140.
The ex-footballer reportedly took the stylish vehicle for a ride with his fashion-designer wife Victoria before handing it over to the newlyweds on Sunday, April 10. The car was painted in light blue as apparently demanded by the 46-year-old co-owner of Inter Miami CF. David Lorenz, Founder & CEO of Lunaz, said, “In creating this beautiful, electrified Jaguar XK140, we are honoured to bridge the gap between David Beckham’s professional life, where he is an investor in Lunaz and his family life.”

“This remarkable car is the perfect gift to his son Brooklyn and daughter-in-law, Nicola on their wedding day. In every respect, this extraordinary electric classic car by Lunaz symbolises a bright, positive future,” Lorenz added.
Brooklyn and Peltz, who seemed to recreate Meghan and Harry's reception arrival in the convertible, reportedly rode off in their luxurious car as they headed for a brunch just a day after their nuptials. The 23-year-old was seen donning a relaxed cream sweater while his new wife, who is the daughter of Nelson Peltz and model Claudia Heffner, was rocking a ponytail, which was tied with a white ribbon. The new in-laws, David and Victoria, also reportedly looked every inch stylish in a white shirt and a black strapped top, respectively.
Meanwhile, Twitter has a lot to say after the news of David gifting Jaguar to his son and daughter-in-law got out. A user commented, “Gosh stop giving this kid everything. This is why he’s getting married. He’s bored. Dropped out of college. Has nothing to do so he got married, will have a few kids and then divorce her. He needs to figure things out on his own.”
The second one wrote, “More money than sense. The son will go through life expecting to be spoon fed forever.” “Wish my daddy can pay for my wedding as well… and have @serenawilliams at my wedding…” a third user remarked.
