Paul Walker's daughter Meadow Walker is using her platform to do good in the world and bring attention to important issues. The 21-year-old recently took to Instagram to announce that she is launching a new campaign in partnership with Pencils to Promise to help build a new school.

"Today, I am launching a campaign with @pencilsofpromise to build a school," she wrote on the social media platform. "This is the season of giving and my biggest wish is to provide a space for these children to learn." The organization that Meadow is working with aims to increase education in Laos, Guatemala and Ghana.

"Everyone deserves a good education. We are dedicating this school to my dad, Paul Walker. "

Once directed to the fundraising page, Meadow explains that she hopes to raise $50,000

"This is the season of giving. Do good, is something that is extremely important to me. Even $1 can make a huge difference in providing children with a space to learn and grow. Education, all of the knowledge that you have gained, is something that can never be taken away from you. This year, building this school is the one thing on my Christmas list. In addition, I would like to dedicate this school to my father, Paul Walker," she wrote.

"Please help me support Pencils of Promise, a for-purpose organization working to increase access to quality education of children in Ghana, Guatemala and Laos."

The donations will go directly to Pencils of Promise and Meadow requests people to donate just $75 each. "Together, we have an amazing opportunity to make a real and lasting difference in the lives of children around the world and we’re hoping you’ll join us–it’s as simple as making a donation to my campaign page. Just $75 creates educational opportunities for a PoP student, so every donation counts. Thank you for helping me reach my goal and change the lives of students around the world," she urged people.

As of writing this article, the campaign has raised over $11,635.
