Daughter Bindi calls Steve Irwin her 'guiding light' as she remembers him on his 57th birthday
The world was robbed of a great soul September 4, 2006, when the death of legendary conservationist, and television personality, Steve Irwin was reported. Known as the "Crocodile Hunter", Steve made sure that people got to see the beautiful and friendly side of the wildlife that existed among us.
Unfortunately, his time with us fell short as Steve passed away at the age of 44 after being pierced in the heart by a stingray barb. The incident took place when Steve was filming an underwater documentary. Even though time has passed since his death, his family has made sure his legacy and memories stay with us forever. On the occasion of his 57th birthday, his daughter, Bindi Irwin, took to Instagram to share an adorable picture with her father.
