Daniel Radcliffe and Erin Darke beam with joy as they enjoy a stroll with their newborn in NYC on Father's Day
WEST VILLAGE, NEW YORK CITY: Daniel Radcliffe and his longtime partner Erin Darke celebrated Father's Day with a joyful stroll in the West Village. The couple, who initially met on the set of ‘Kill Your Darlings’ in 2012 and began dating later, radiated happiness as they enjoyed the summer weather in New York City with their newborn.
Having announced their pregnancy earlier this year, Daniel and Erin now proudly showcase their little bundle of joy to the world. Daniel, 33, wore a wide smile as he walked beside Erin, 38, demonstrating his contentment.
Brand new parents’ style
Daniel lovingly cradled the newborn baby, nestled snugly in a papoose-style sling, while sporting a blue cap, a matching blue t-shirt, grey jeans, black trainers, and a backpack. Erin, positively radiant in the new photos, wore a breezy summer dress adorned with white and blue stripes, with her brunette hair elegantly pulled back.
Shielding her eyes with sunglasses, she completed her look with black Birkenstock sandals and carried a shopping bag. Both Daniel and Erin had beverages in hand, with Daniel enjoying an iced latte from Starbucks and Erin sipping on a dark green juice.
‘It'll be a hell of a story’
A source close to the couple shared their excitement in March, stating, "Daniel and Erin could not be happier to be expecting. They are absolutely thrilled, and can’t wait to become a family of three." “They told their families and friends recently. It’s an incredibly exciting time,” the source had added.
Daniel gained worldwide fame at the age of 12 for his portrayal of a young wizard in the immensely successful 'Harry Potter' film franchise. Erin, who previously worked in casting, later transitioned to acting.
Reflecting on their relationship, Daniel spoke fondly of their connection during the filming of ‘Kill Your Darlings’. He said, "It'll be a hell of a story to tell our kids one day. Our characters are meeting and flirting with each other, so there is this kind of sweet record of us just meeting for the first time."
