Long Neck, who went viral back in 2019, revealed the child is improving every day and is off the feeding tube. He has started drinking and eating on his own. But still, doctors are not very clear about if there'll be any lasting effects from the ordeal. The viral sensation recently took to his Instagram handle to share a picture of his baby boy hand in his hand with the caption “Thank you everyone for the prayers my son is getting a lil better each day I’m so blessed to have everyone behind me praying and showing so much love I’m truly blessed for my son and everyone that is showing support 👏🏼💯❤️ #JusticeForBabyDavid ✊”
Long Neck said he is allowed to visit his baby at his foster family’s residence and is exploring legal guidance to gain custody of the baby. The young entertainer welcomed his first son back in December 2021 but soon after revealed that he and his baby’s mama were parting ways because of personal reasons.
As per the reports, the baby was hospitalized last month after suffering head fractures and brain bleeding. Long Neck said he flew from Michigan to LA when his ex-lover informed him that their son has been hospitalized. Later a social worker informed him that his ex’s new boyfriend, Daemien Obeso, has been arrested by the police for allegedly abusing the 9-month-old child.
Later, the Montebello Police Department revealed that the officers received a call from the nearby hospital on August 26, to go through medical reports showing severe injuries sustained by an infant newborn baby. Responding to the call, the officials launched an investigation and eventually arrested Obeso for child abuse resulting in great bodily injury. However, Obeso is currently out on a bond.
For the unreversed, Long Neck first went viral back in 2019, when he created a lot of buzz by partnering with another online star, Charles McDowell, popularly known as Wide Neck. The musical duo created two comedic rap tracks, "Neckst Up" and "Neckst Big Thing", that quickly became viral sensations, generating over 8 million views in less than two months.
