Who was Glen Johnson? Rapper DaBaby's brother kills himself after posting video with gun, fans say prayers

Glen had shared a video of himself earlier in the day where he was seen in a car with a gun, according to reports

Rapper DaBaby’s older brother, Glen Johnson, has reportedly died from an apparent suicide on November 3 in Charlotte, North Carolina, according to a report by TMZ. According to the site, Johnson had shared a video of himself earlier in the day where he was seen in a car with a gun. He was visibly upset and crying in the video.

It was also reported that DaBaby's brother had claimed he had been wronged a lot in the past. If the report published by HipHopDX is to be believed sources revealed that Johnson shot himself in the head at around 4 pm local time and quickly succumbed to his injury. Johnson is survived by three daughters and a son.

As soon as the news of the rapper’s older brother committing suicide hit the Internet, a lot of fans took to Twitter to express their condolences and say a prayer. One user said, “In other news i hope dababy is doin alright i know that's gotta be tough i couldnt imagine.” Another stated, “Rest in Peace to Dababy’s older brother, Glen Johnson, who passed away after taking his own life tonight much love to his family.”

One user said, “@DaBabyDaBaby.... extremely sorry for your loss no words”. One added, “As much fun as DaBaby jokes are, this news breaks my heart. DaBaby’s brother Glen took his own life today. He has 3 daughters and a son. Prayers up for DaBaby and the Johnson family.” A user posted, “Times are sometimes hard to go through but I hope you get over your brother and may god take him into his hands.” One expressed, “condolences to dababy man nobody deserves to go through that.”



 



 



 



 



 



 

The rapper is yet to address his brother’s death on social media. DaBaby had also mentioned about his brother in one of his songs titled 'Intro' where he rapped, “My brother be thinkin that we don’t love him and let him struggle like we ain’t family, Like I won’t give up all I got to see you happy.”
