Bachelor Nation is in mourning after the news that former 'Bachelor' contestant, Cristy Caserta, had passed away all of a sudden on Thursday in Sunrise, Florida.

According to Us Weekly, the Sunrise Police Department announced that the 38-year-old attorney had suffered an apparent seizure while she was attending a training class at a local school.

“The students around her noticed her coffee fell to the ground and thought maybe she fell asleep, but she was unresponsive when they approached her,” officer Fernandez says. “They called 911, and Fire Rescue showed up and started CPR and she was still unresponsive.”

Caserta was then immediately sent to Westside Regional Medical Centre, where she was then pronounced dead at 8.59 am.

An autopsy is set to be performed on Friday at 4 pm in order to determine the cause of her death.

The blogger behind the 'Bachelor' fan site Reality Steve, Stephen Carbone, paid tribute to her on Twitter saying, “Sick to my stomach to see that Cristy Caserta from Brad Womack’s 2nd season has suddenly passed away. Cristy was always there to give me legal advice in the past. I’m at a loss after seeing people post on her FB. Just spoke a couple weeks ago. RIP my friend.”

Caserta appeared on season 15 of the reality TV dating series and was eliminated during the first week of the show.
