'Counting On' star Jill Duggar pens heartfelt goodbye note after friend Heather Ann Schisler's death
SILOAM SPRINGS, ARKANSAS: 'Counting On' alum Jill Duggar Dillard recently lost one of her friends, Heather Ann Schisler, shaking the star completely. Jill, who is still trying to process her friend's death, took to Instagram to inform her fans about her tragic loss.
Naturally, the fans of the TLC show wanted to know more about the relationship between Jill and Heather as well as more about her precious church friend.
Who was Heather Ann Schisler?
Heather, who was 39 years old at the time of her death, belonged to Elm Springs, Arkansas. The digital content creator's social media bio read, "Blessed to be redeemed by the blood of Jesus!" pointing to her faith. Heather called herself a "busy mom" as well as the founder of Passion 4 Savings and Menu Plans. Her followers knew her for delivering high-quality content on finance, budgeting, lifestyle, health, and environmental issues on Passion For Savings.
While studying at the University of Arkansas, Heather found the love of her life, Jonathan Schisler and the two tied the knot on August 4, 2006. The couple was happily married life for 17 years, taking pride in raising their children, Zachary, Hailey, Madden, and Breelyn Grace.

How did Heather Ann Schisler die?
In May, Heather took to social media to share her devastating cancer diagnosis. She wrote a big note on Instagram, saying, "I received an advanced stage metastatic cancer diagnosis," adding, "We are currently working on additional testing to determine the primary source, but it has spread into both my liver and lungs." She was looking forward "to Jesus for our strength and peace during this time and so thankful that he promises to never leave us or forsake us!" After bravely fighting cancer for months, Heather died on July 30.

Jill took to Instagram to let her followers know about the sad news. Uploading the picture of Heather and her family, Jill wrote, "Our hearts are breaking over the loss today of our sweet friend," adding, "I hate cancer." Jill and Heather knew each other for years and went to a small church group. Moreover, the friends shared a pregnancy journey in 2022 and had their babies just a couple of weeks apart. Later, Jill uploaded an image from Heather's memorial service on her Instagram Story, writing, "Cannot believe she is gone. The service and the reception were so beautiful and were so honoring to who Heather was + totally ad the all-in Heather flare."
