LAS VEGAS, OHIO: Orlando Brown, a former Disney Channel star, will get his mental health checked following his arrest in December. This allows him to plead not guilty by reasons of insanity if he is found not fit to stand trial.
The 'That's So Raven' star was out on bail on Friday, January 3, after posting a bond of $25,000. He has been charged with aggravated menacing, a first-degree misdemeanor in Ohio for which he was arrested in December 2022. He has, however, pleaded not guilty to the crime.

Orlando remains under house arrest
Despite posting the bond, Orlando, a Las Vegas native, remains under house arrest. The incident that led to Brown's arrest apparently involved an argument with Matthew Sanders who said Brown threatened him with a knife and a hammer.
Orlando was busted back in December after police in Ohio responded to a call about a fight in progress between two men, as per TMZ which broke the story. Brown's most recent legal troubles began four years after he made headlines when he sensationally agreed to a sort of intervention interview with Dr Phil McGraw after a run of convictions for offenses like burglary, drug possession, resisting arrest, and domestic assault, the Page Six noted.
Orlando's list of offenses
Back in September 2018 “That’s So Raven” star was arrested in Las Vegas for burglary. He was reportedly caught on camera while he was changing the locks inside Legends Restaurant & Venue. The restaurant was owned by Brown's longtime friend Danny Boy. Prior to the burglary arrest, Orlando was issued with an arrest warrant after he skipped a court appearance in Las Vegas for his drug possession charges.

He was detained a month prior to that year on suspicion of one count of felony drug possession as well as misdemeanor counts of having drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest, and impeding a public official. He also had a warrant out for his arrest for domestic assault. In April 2018 Bounty Hunters caught Orlando in a house closet where he was hiding, with his pants down. In 2013, he was arrested for DUI and subsequently failed to attend court-ordered alcohol education classes, which resulted in prison time. In 2014, an audio leak of Brown threatening to kill a woman.
Orlando lived with his victim claiming to be homeless
In May 2018, the 'Major Payne' star surprised fans with his bizarre decision to get his former “That’s So Raven” co-star Raven-Symoné’s face tattooed on his chest. In the latest incident for which he was arrested, he was living under the same roof as the alleged victim, who got him a movie role, which Brown's since lost as a result of the alleged incident.
He was residing in Sander's house by allegedly claiming to be homeless. Sanders had accused him of raping his wife after he acted 'crazy' and allegedly tried to attack him with the broken-off knife blade and a hammer. The charge was reduced to misdemeanor and aggravated menacing.
