American rapper Cardi B took to Instagram on March 10 admitting that she was scared of the novel coronavirus. She also said that she was uneasy about the disease that has affected thousands around the world.

“Let me tell y'all motherf***ers something, I don't know what this coronavirus is about. Let me tell y'all something, I ain't gonna front: I'm a little scared. S*** got me panicking,” said the singer, whose full name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, in the social media post. Adding further, the ‘Gangsta Bitch Music’ singer said that she was clueless “how that s*** was from Wuhan China, now all of a sudden this s*** is on motherf***ing tour”.

In her social media rant, Cardi also noted the effect of coronavirus on the fashionistas like her as many goods are manufactured out of China. “Guess what ... a lot of s*** comes from motherf***ing China, b****. If you're wondering why your motherf***ing weave or your Fashionnova motherf***ing packages haven't arrived, guess what b**** - coronavirus! coronavirus!,” she said.

Ending her Instagram post, Cardi said that she was taking the disease very seriously, saying: “I'm telling you, s*** is real! S*** is getting real - b****, I'm scared.” She captioned her video, “a keep playing I’m deada** F***IN SCARED,” and added that she was “stocking up on food” as things could worsen.

The novel coronavirus is also known as COVID-19 that has taken more than 4,000 lives globally. As a precautionary measure, April's Coachella music festival (which she played in 2018) has been pushed to October, while the country festival Stagecoach has also been deferred.

“At the direction of the County of Riverside and local health authorities, we must sadly confirm the rescheduling of Coachella and Stagecoach due to COVID-19 concerns. While this decision comes at a time of universal uncertainty, we take the safety and health of our guests, staff, and community very seriously,” Goldenvoice, which promotes both festivals, said in a statement.
