Comedian Park Ji-sun, 36, and her mother found dead at their Seoul home in suspected suicide
Comedian Park Ji-Sun, 36, was found dead along with her mother at a home located in Mapo-gu in Western Seoul, the authorities have revealed. According to a police official, Park Ji Sun and her mother were found dead earlier this afternoon. The authorities had been dispatched to the scene after they received a report. They are looking into whether there was any foul play in the death of the mother and daughter and investigating the cause of death.
The Mapo Fire Station had released a statement and said, "A report came in at around 1:40 pm and we were dispatched to the scene. A total of two people, Park Ji Sun, and a person believed to be her mother, were found dead. We transferred the case to the police," Koreaboo reports.
Park had been undergoing treatment due to her health condition and her mother was staying with her in Seoul. The police are suspecting suicide but the investigation is ongoing. In the year 2007, Park had made her debut as a comedian at KBS. She was also widely recognized for her work on TV entertainment shows.
