Cody Simpson spotted kissing mystery woman 'on the lips' in New York while texting Miley Cyrus on the side
Just a day after Cody Simpson's sister refuted rumors that her brother had broken up with Miley Cyrus, the Australian musician was reportedly seen kissing a mystery woman while he was texting his girlfriend.
While partying at the Little Sister Lounge in the East Village, New York, from Sunday, December 22, to the next day morning, the 22-year-old singer was surrounded by women and Miley was nowhere to be seen. A witness at the party told Page Six that “He was drinking and flirting with girls. He was texting Miley while there.”
If a report is to be believed, some of the women Cody paid attention to apparently passed out because they could not handle his "allure." “He was with all these girls and one was almost fainting and he kissed her on the lips with no tongue," the insider shared.
Hours before the alleged smooch took place, the 'Don't Call Me Angel' singer took to Instagram to post a clip of a “sad” Christmas song she released, reiterating the fact that she was feeling lonely.
“Even with a house full of family and friends I still felt alone,” she captioned the video. “In ways that still feels relevant and someone reading this right now could possibly relate! If you feel lonely this season just know YOU ARE COMPLETELY MADE OF MAGIC!”
On Saturday, Cody was seen walking alongside Playboy model Jordy Murray in New York City with once again Miley nowhere in sight. Meanwhile, Cody Simpson's sister Alli Simpson decried rumors that her brother had split up from Miley, telling Daily Mail Australia, "Yes, [they're] together for sure."
She further insisted that Cody being spotted with Jordy was not a big deal and people were reading too much into it. "She is his best friend, [actor] Ryan McCarthy's girlfriend of a few years," she told the outlet. "He's visiting him for a couple days."
