'Everybody’s a hypocrite’: Coco Austin fires back at trolls after controversy of daughter's bath in sink
Coco Austin, Ice-T's wife, has retaliated in response to the most recent round of parental criticism. Earlier, fans criticized the TV actress for sharing a video in which she bathes Chanel, her six-year-old daughter, in the kitchen sink. Social media users bashed her for being ‘creepy’ and ‘weird.’ Now while hitting back at trolls, Austin told Page Six, “They’re like, on me. But the thing is, everybody’s a hypocrite I feel because they do certain weird things in their house.”
The pair also faced criticism earlier this year for sharing a picture of their family's vacation to Barbados in which Chanel looked like she was in a stroller. Austin said, “I don’t think that bathing my daughter in the sink is weird. If I have a huge-ass sink, why not? It’s just easier for me. And if I have to carry her everywhere and it’s just easier to bring a stroller, why not? She’s petite, she’s super small, and it’s easier. I just don’t understand. Why go after me over something so stupid? It’s a stroller. It’s our baby in a sink. Like, come on people, next thing you’re going to say, ‘Oh, you’re kissing her wrong,’ you know?" reported Page Six.

The swimsuit model claimed that she is extremely protective of Chanel and that she "knows what's right and wrong" for her daughter. “I’m very, very protective of her, and going after me for these little things while there’s war? In the past as well, Ice-T has spoken openly about the criticism his wife and he receives for their unique parenting methods. The rapper, 64, told The View, "Rule one on the Internet: Do not pay attention to anything anyone says on the Internet. Worry about the people that walk up to you and say things in your real life. Those are the people you should be concerned with. The Internet is the world. It's the world talking, so I don't pay attention."
