'Chucky' star Ed Gale, 59, interrogated for trying to solicit sex from boy, 14, during sting operation
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Police in Los Angeles are investigating actor Ed Gale after a vigilante squad captured the 'Chucky' star on camera having to admit to soliciting a 14-year-old boy for sex. On Friday, April 14, the video was taken of the area outside Gale's apartment building and police were called, but no arrests have been made. Gale, 59, is well-known for playing the killer doll Chucky in the films 'Child's Play', 'Child's Play 2', and 'Bride of Chucky'.
The Creep Catcher Unit pretended to be a 14-year-old boy online and claimed to have received sexual texts from the 59-year-old actor before confronting him in front of the camera at his Hollywood residence. Gale faced off with Creep Catcher Unit (CC Unit) presenter "Ghost" on April 14 after it was claimed that the actor believed he was catching up with a teenager for sex, according to Daily Mail.

'Oral, hand, and possibly anal sex'
Gale admitted in footage captured by the Creep Catcher Unit (CC Unit) on Friday that he had "talked to a few minors sexually online," that they were "all under 18," and that there were "definitely no more than 10" of them in all. He admitted to intending to have 'oral, hand, and possibly anal' sex with the one he was texting, whom he assumed to be a 14-year-old boy.
The troubling footage shows Ghost asking the 'Spaceballs' and 'Chucky' actor if he has ever engaged in sexual activity with a youngster online. The actor answered, "Yes." Gale's messages to Ghost's dummy are depicted in the screenshots in a sexually explicit manner. The texts allegedly show Gale writing "I want to be inside of you" and "I want to taste your tongue in my mouth." Gale responded, "Raw with lube," after the decoy allegedly asked: "Do [you] want to use condom all the time or do it raw for a little bit."
Gale acknowledged sending the texts when Ghost displayed printouts of them to him during the two hours of video of their contention. Maggie Mayor-Oats, a neighbor at the apartment complex, told she thought Gale was 'creepy.' According to LAPD, they are looking into Gale's accusation. He has not been detained, and no formal complaints have been filed.
Since they began in 2018, the CC Unit claims to have carried out sting operations against 363 suspected predators. In press releases announcing charges against some of the people they allegedly captured on video, prosecutors and police agencies recognized the CC Unit. On its Instagram and YouTube channels, the group released images and videos from its altercation with Gale.
