TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA: Christy, a Florida woman who claimed she married her stepfather on TikTok, has finally revealed who her real husband is. The TikToker, whose handle is @ChristyWho_, shocked users earlier when she claimed she was married to her stepfather by sharing a six-second video, in which she was seen passionately kissing him.
The text on the video read, "Marrying my stepdad was the best decision I’ve ever made." In the caption, she added hashtags, including #marryyourmomsex and #agegap. However, she has now admitted that the whole video was just a joke and her real love story was way more different.

While the video sparked concern and disgust among many netizens, Christy spoke out in response. "Let's clear some things up until the story time is posted," she wrote in the on-screen text. "Was I groomed? No, Was I minor when I met him? No, Did my stepdad raise me? No Do me and my mom still talk? Yes, Did he have kids with my mom? No," she added. The video, which was posted on February 27, has garnered 23.4 million views and has received more than 127,000 comments.
Who is Christy's real husband?
Christy later revealed it was her brother Shaun Christopher Harris' best friend is her husband now. The two became very close after her brother died in a motorcycle crash. Her newest video's caption read, “Not as interesting as the other story but now y’all can leave my kids and brother alone."
"I also wanted to prove that everyone will be upset and believe anything they see on the internet nowadays. They were mad when I ‘married my stepdad,’ and they were mad when I posted my real story and found out that it wasn’t actually my stepdad. The internet feeds on the drama. The amount of death threats I received, wishing that my children were born without arms and legs and they were glad my brother had died, and they wanted to call [child protective services] on me. It was absolutely insane lol," she said, per the New York Post.
Christy said in her recent video, "I became close with his best friend. We were inseparable. No one thought it would last." The couple also welcomed their first daughter, Kali Shine, and their son, Kash Christopher, who are both named after her late brother. In another follow-up video, Christy shared screenshots of all the headlines that came up after the video went viral. The video stated, "Did I expect a reaction? Yes. Did I expect THIS? No!! she wrote. HE'S NOT MY STEPDAD for the ones still confused."
