Chrissy Teigen hurt that her friends aren't backing her, mulling leaving LA
Chrissy Teigen is mulling leaving Los Angeles amid allegations of bullying which has seen public anger turn against her. In May, TV personality Courtney Stodden called out Teigen's bullying behavior on Twitter from years ago through tweets targeted at the non-binary model when they were still a teenager.
Since the tweets were brought back, Teigen has been at the receiving end of a severe backlash - both from social media and in the form of losing precious business deals for her cookware line. And this has seemingly resulted in the mother-of-two considering leaving Los Angeles until the furor dies down, as she reportedly continues to lose sleep over it.

According to OK! Magazine, a source claimed "Chrissy genuinely regrets her hateful words. Chrissy’s losing sleep because the people she thought were friends aren’t publicly backing her." The source, who also claimed that Teigen and her EGOT husband John Legend are both considering moving from the city, added "The cancel culture backlash has totally caught her off guard. But she has only herself to blame.”
Stodden hasn't been the only one to call out Teigen for alleged bully-like behavior on Twitter; soon after the controversy broke out, conservative pundit Candace Owens pointed out a string of Teigen's tweets dating back to the early 2010s where the model could be seen passing snide remarks about others. Amidst the slew of multiple women and child stars accusing Teigen of a horrible Twitter past, Stodden also made the revelation of Teigen asking them to kill themselves.
In a recent podcast interview, Stodden claimed, "[Teigen] wouldn’t just publicly tweet about wanting me to take ‘a dirt nap’ but would privately DM me and tell me to kill myself." She added these direct messages would entail "Things like, ‘I can’t wait for you to die.’” One such deleted tweet sees Teigen tell Stodden, “My Friday fantasy: you. dirt nap. mmmmmm baby, Go. to sleep. Forever." She also tweeted to Stodden “what drug makes you do that with your mouth? asking for a friend who really wants to look like an idiot. thanks.”
Teigen has since publicly apologized for the roughly decade old messages by tweeting: "Not a lot of people are lucky enough to be held accountable for all their past bullshit in front of the entire world. I’m mortified and sad at who I used to be. I was an insecure, attention seeking troll. I am ashamed and completely embarrassed at my behavior but that is nothing compared to how I made Courtney feel." She added: "I have worked so hard to give you guys joy and be beloved and the feeling of letting you down is nearly unbearable, truly. These were not my only mistakes and surely won’t be my last as hard as I try but god I will try!!"
Teigen has since avoided the public and social media, claim reports. Stodden, who's open to meeting Teigen in person and sorting the matter out, has however maintained that not once in the years since Teigen's tweets about them, has either Teigen, nor her team, tried to get in touch with Stodden to address the matter.
