Are Chris Rock and Lake Bell dating? Rumored couple spotted 'holding hands' at dinner date in LA
Chris Rock, 57, and Lake Bell, 42, became the talk of the town once again when they were spotted walking hand in hand after dinner outside a restaurant in Los Angeles. Rock was dressed in a white sleeve top, grey pants and brown shoes, while Bell kept it casual as well in a black crop top when they were seen outside the Giorgio Baldi restaurant in LA.
Page Six notes that a witness noticed Rock and Bell holding hands as they walked out of the upscale Italian restaurant, but saw them immediately let go of each other when they spotted the photographers. In June, the rumored love birds Rock and Bell were seen attending a baseball game together at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, where the St. Louis Cardinals were playing. Like always they kept their relationship low key but speculations continued as eager fans and viewers tried to decode their smiles and waves.

This is not Rock and Bell' first relationship. Bell was previously married to Scott Campbell from 2013 to 2020 and has two children. In 2017, she opened up to New York Post about the beginnings of her relationship with her then-husband, saying that Campbell got her name inked on his back nine days after they met. While the Emmy-winning comedian with fans around the world, who had hosted the Oscars earlier, doesn’t talk about his personal life too often, he was married for about two decades. Rock and his wife, Malaak Compton-Rock, didn’t have an easy divorce. Law firm Graziano & Flynn notes their divorce became even more complicated with their third child. Chris was married to Malaak for 18 years. However, things got rocky and the pair ended up calling it quits, completing their divorce process in 2016
Bell and Campbell had announced their separation on their Instagram accounts, saying they will always love each other and their two children. “After 9 years together, 7 years married, 2 sparkling children, Scott and I are ending our marriage but continuing our loving family,” Bell had posted.
Bell, has appeared in many films and television series. She made her acting debut with the 2002 film 'Speakeasy'. She even appeared in the psychological drama ‘I Love Your Work’ and in the NBC comedy-drama, 'Miss Match'. Later she played the role of Sally Heep in four episodes of the ABC legal drama. She was last seen in the film 'Summering'. In the case of Rock, who is slowly coming out of this year's Oscar slap controversy with Will Smith, he is back in front of audiences as he last played two sold-out gigs at the Wilbur Theater in Boston.

In 2020, Rock was reportedly dating actress Carmen Ejogo while in 2018 his hit show "Tamborine" on Netflix and had once expressed frankly about his divorce from Compton, saying who really "owned" their house and the challenges of going to court to seek joint custody of his children. "You don't want to get divorced, I tell you right now," Rock told the audience at his set. "If you've got somebody you love, hold tight."
