The 58-year-old comedian was at his home in the Soho neighborhood of Manhattan when he noticed a person looking inside his window, as per TMZ. Feeling alarmed, Rock immediately called the police for help.
The alleged invasion of privacy occurred due to the actor's accessible fire escape, which allowed the man to approach the window directly. To make matters worse for Rock, the person was seen carrying a camera, suggesting the possibility of unauthorized photographs being taken of his private space.

Intruder wore dark jacket and pink crocs
According to sources, the incident occurred around 8 pm. The voyeur did not seem to be attempting to enter Rock's house. Despite the prompt arrival of New York Police Department officers at Rock's home, it was too late to apprehend the intruder. According to sources, the person quickly fled the scene as soon as Rock noticed him on the fire escape. It remains uncertain how far the man had to descend from the fire escape to reach the ground.
Police sources mentioned that the man was observed wearing a dark jacket. What stood out as unusual was his choice of footwear - pink crocs, which seemed incompatible for someone who might have intended to remain inconspicuous. Authorities described the man as being in his twenties.

Reportedly, the individual in question got into a white Mercedes parked near Rock's residence and drove away.
