Actor Chris Pratt is expecting his first child with wife Kat Schwarzennegar and this means that 'Terminator' star Arnold Schwarzenegger will be a grandfather for the first time. The news was confirmed by TMZ who reported that Kat sported a baby bump while she was out with her mother Maria Shriver for a walk. The couple who tied the knot last June after dating for a year had reportedly planned on starting a  family as soon as possible and news of Kat's pregnancy confirms the same.

While she was out for a walk in a neighborhood in LA, she was seen sporting loose clothes and a hoodie, but that did not hide her baby bump. The mom-to-be quickly covered herself up when she realized that she was being photographed. The official confirmation about the same is yet to be made. This would be Kat's first baby and Pratt's second child. Pratt shares a son, Jack, with his ex-wife Anna Faris who he was married to for several years before they divorced in 2018.

Arnold had previously spoken about how his first meeting with his son-in-law Pratt had been, in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel and said, "The first thing when we met, he says, ‘Can we have a workout together? I need to have the inside scoop to the pumping iron,’" and continued, "When I watched him make his moves in the gym, the incline press specifically did it. [That’s] why I wanted him to become my son-in-law. It was the incline press."

Arnold had also said, "I’m really happy that he is such a great guy. Not only a very talented guy and a great actor and a great star and all this stuff, but a really kind man and kind to my daughter, which is the most important thing for me."

Pratt and Kat's wedding was a small and intimate affair with close friends and family present. Sharing their wedding picture, Pratt had written on Instagram, "Yesterday was the best day of our lives!"

"We became husband and wife in front of God, our families and those we love. It was intimate, moving, and emotional. We feel so blessed to begin this new chapter of our lives. We are so thankful to our families and our friends who stood with us and grateful to Mr. Giorgio Armani who created a once in a lifetime dress for Katherine to wear and for me, the perfect suit. This morning we feel nothing but blessed."
