Chris Hemsworth cheekily wishes 'Avengers' co-star Chris Evans on his 42nd birthday, calls him his 'favorite Chris' in heartwarming tribute
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Chris Evans turned 42 on Tuesday, June 13, and his superheroes friends were quick to wish the ‘Captain America.’ His close buddy Chris Hemsworth cheekily wished him, joking about ‘his favorite Chris.’ The 'Thor' star wrote on Twitter, "Happy Birthday to my favorite Chris @ChrisEvans" and shared a picture with him in the background. 'You have less energy'
Chris was voted People’s 2022 Sexiest Man Alive in November and shared what it means to be chosen at the age of 40. "In the good old days I could eat whatever I wanted, do a couple of workouts per week, and be okay," said the star. "That is not the case anymore. If I have two beers, I wear it. I haven't had to play a role like 'Captain America' in a while so things like diet and workout regimen haven't been on my radar. But getting older, things are clicking and sore and it's harder to wake up, you have less energy," according to People.
'You get paid to take care of yourself and be a superhero'
Eating with awareness is what Chris believes in. "It's as simple as stretching in the morning. God, I'm old," shared ‘The Gray Man’ star. "But things like that. Making sure you're drinking water, that you go to bed at a reasonable time, making sure you're not drinking too much coffee or beer, simple things, but they add up," he further said.
The superstar also talked about working out during his first 'Avengers' flick, "Oh my God, you'd be a real jerk to not enjoy it. You get paid to take care of yourself and be a superhero," Chris continues, "This is like what you [dream of doing] as a kid. You run around your backyard and pretend to be a comic book character. It's been one of the greatest joys of my life to kind of dive in and prepare for these movies.”
