Chris Evans flaunts wedding ring as he confirms to crowd at Comic-Con he's 'married' to Alba Baptista
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Chris Evans surprised fans at New York Comic Con on Saturday, October 14 as he flaunted his wedding ring, a month after getting married to Alba Baptista in Boston.
PageSix reported that the 42-year-old actor had his gold band on display while chatting on stage with Tumblr and his fans.
Evans wore a black graphic tee with a blue bomber jacket, black pants, and white sneakers for the event at the Javits Center.
Chris Evans cheerfully told his fans his wedding was 'really great'
At the panel discussion, the 'Captain America: Civil War' star confirmed to the crowd that he and 26-year-old Baptista tied the knot.
"I got married. It was really, really great," he confessed.
Evans then confirmed that he and his wife who is from Portugal had a second wedding ceremony in her home country.
"We kind of had two ceremonies,” the actor revealed, adding "We had one on the East Coast, we did one in Portugal — my wife’s Portuguese. But they were just … wonderful and beautiful. It’s a lot planning a wedding — for those of you who are married you know, it takes a lot out of you."

Chris Evans says he and his wife Alba Baptista have been 'enjoying life and reflecting'
Speaking about his life after marriage, Evans said "we’ve just kind of been enjoying life, gearing up for autumn — my favorite season. It’s, like, the best time of year right now."
"Now we’re just relaxing and enjoying life and reflecting," he added.
Chris Evan's wedding ceremony was 'locked down tight'
The 'Gray Man' actor and the 'Warrior Nun' alum tied the knot in a private ceremony at their home in Boston.
According to PageSix, a source said that the ceremony was "locked down tight" and wedding guests had to sign NDAs and turn over their cell phones at the time.

Evans' Marvel co-stars Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, and Jeremy Renner attended the ceremony.
The pair then traveled to Portugal to have a second wedding, allowing Baptista's family to witness them exchange vows.
How did Chris Evans and Alba Baptista meet?
The now-married couple first sparked romance rumors in November 2022. At the time, Evans and Baptista reportedly began dating for "over a year," according to People.
The duo was seen holding hands while out in New York's Central Park hours after the rumors surfaced.
The 'Ghosted' actor made his relationship with the 'Mrs Harris Goes to Paris' star Instagram-official in February.
