'A look back at 2022': Chris Evans and Alba Baptista confirm dating rumors as actor posts cute home video
BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS: Captain America has finally brought his love life out into the light! Actor Chris Evans, 41, and his rumored girlfriend of two years Portuguese beauty Alba Baptista, 25, are finally "Instagram official" as the actor shared a cute home video on Friday of the pair taking attempts at scaring each other as his "2022 rewind."
In the caption of the video which was posted on his Instagram stories, Evans said it was "A look back on 2022," followed by three red heart emojis, clearly indicating love for the young starlet. Evans has had a list of A-list girlfriends prior to Baptista, with him being in relationships with actresses Jessica Biel, Minka Kelly, and more recently, his ‘Gifted’ co-star, Jenny Slate. Interestingly, he was also heavily rumored to be dating singer Selena Gomez.

According to a report by People, the actor has always been quite vocal about wanting to take the next step in his personal life- which includes getting married and having children. "That's absolutely something I want,” he had said. But he will continue to remain tight-lipped about his personal pleasures, "Some things you want just for you, or just for my family and my friends."
He had also made it known that he wants to be a proper domestic husband in an interview with Men’s Journal, where he said “I really want kids. Yeah, I do…I like pretty pedestrian, domestic things. I want a wife, I want kids. I like ceremony. I want to carve pumpkins and decorate Christmas trees and shit like that.”
More recently, he had admitted to being "laser-focused" on his love life while being interviewed for the press tour of his recent release, 'The Gray Man'. “The answer would be that maybe [I’m] laser-focused on finding a partner, you know, someone that you want to live with. I mean, look — I love what I do. It’s great; I pour all of myself into it. But in terms of — even this industry is full of pockets of doubt, hesitation, and recalibration in terms of really trying to find someone that you really can pour all of yourself into. Maybe it’s about trying to find someone that you’re looking to spend your life with. Yes, so maybe it’s that.”
On the work front, the actor is currently working on a comedy movie with Dwayne Johnson called 'Red One', which also stars Kiernan Shipka and Lucy Liu. Baptista on the other hand was most recently seen as the lead actress in the Netflix shows 'Warrior Nun', and 'Mrs Harris Goes To Paris'.
